Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being, yet it often remains a topic surrounded by misconceptions and stigma. This seminar “Your Mental Health Matters” aims to unravel the complexities of mental health, foster understanding, and create a supportive environment for our wider community.
In this engaging and informative session organised by Cornerstone Community Services, our keynote speaker will cover essential aspects of mental health, including definitions, the mental health continuum, common challenges, and the impact of societal stigma. Our guest speaker who is a singer-songwriter and an active mental health advocate will also be present to share her journey. Attendees will gain valuable insights into recognizing signs and symptoms, implementing coping strategies, and promoting a culture of seeking professional help.
By dispelling myths and offering coping mechanisms, this session seeks to empower individuals to prioritize mental health, support their loved ones, and contribute to a mentally healthier and more compassionate community.
