Since our establishment in 1996 as a social service agency, Cornerstone Community Services has grown to offer a wide range of programmes and services to support diverse communities across Singapore. This report highlights the meaningful impact of our work done in 2024 within the community and demonstrates how your continued support and generous donations have enabled us to maintain existing programmes and services, introduce new initiatives, and extend further assistance to key groups, including families, seniors, migrant workers, and inmates and ex-offenders.

Families
Food Care Programme
51 needy households received monthly food and daily necessities.
Family Life Education & Outreach
Conducted 15 workshops for
29 couples and 226 individuals.
Organised 7 sessions of Henderson Initiative Family Night for 60
low-income residents at rental estate in Henderson.
Organised a Christmas Carnival for
200 low-income residents
at MacPherson.
Marriage Mentoring Programme - Journey with You (JoY)
Supported 10 couples with
4 couple mentors.
Family Support
Provided 67 case management and counselling services.

Couples Connect Initiative
Supported 80 couples in a Telegram group and organised 4 meetings for 13 couples to build strong marriages.
Pop Up Barn
Organised 3 sessions for
95 beneficiaries from low-income families.
Children & Youth
Cornerstone Development Initiatives School Allowance
$166,920 was awarded to 203 students from 88 schools.

Youth Mentoring
Facilitated 13 pairs of mentors and mentees with 520 hours of outreach.
Conducted monthly Lifeskills Programme for 30 teenage girls at Gladiolus Place.
School Outreach
Organised 3 learning journey workshops for 57 students from 3 schools.
Cornerstone Achievement Programme (CAPE)
39 children joined CAPE to learn and read. Held a Children's Day celebration for them and other children from the Aljunied Crescent estate.
Seniors
Cornerstone@ChengSan Active Ageing Centre (CAAC)
1,098 senior members with an average daily attendance of 65 seniors.
131 SuperSenior volunteers.
36 programmes and events attended by 19,570* senior participants.
Collaborated with 61 external partners and social agencies.

Befriending & Outreach
434 seniors have been reached through door-knocking initiatives in Cheng San and visits to the Love & Care Nursing Home.
Cornerstone Kakis
Started in April 2024 with 77 senior members participating in weekly programmes like Kakis Club, Sport Kakis and Fun Kakis at Katong.

Cornerstone Wellness Programme
Organised 14 lifeskills related workshops for 489 migrant workers.
International Migrants Day
Organised activity booths in this event attended by 11,871 migrant workers.

Inmates &
Ex-Offenders
Rebuild & Connect Programme
Organised 15 family-focused sessions for 142 inmates and ex-offenders to prepare them for a positive future.

Kakis Club
Started the monthly sessions for offenders at Selarang Halfway House with 83 members.
Fit Kakis
(In collaboration with Singapore Prison Service and The Salvation Army)
Conducted 11 exercise therapy sessions for 230* elderly and physically disabled inmates.

Kakis Kitchen
Officially opened Kakis Kitchen, a community cafe at Katong.
